The international conference “Reading Chaucer outside the Anglophone World: Receptions, Translations, and Traditions” will be held at National Taiwan University on 12–13 March 2027. This conference is especially meaningful, as it coincides with the publication of Professor Francis K. H. So's annotated translation of Geoffrey Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales.
We are very honored to welcome Professor Francis K. H. So and Professor Candace Barrington, the current President of the New Chaucer Society, as our keynote speakers. We look forward to engaging with scholars from different regions and exploring the diverse developments of Chaucer studies in a global context.
